SCROLL
Storm City is a film production and finance company created to celebrate and support emerging voices. We help tell stories that speak to what it is to be human.
Why Us
We are here to listen, learn, and help storytellers communicate through film. As collaborators we cherish the creative process that moves an idea from start to finish. Our backgrounds as both successful businesspeople and creative filmmakers gives us the freedom to partner with people who want just that: a partner that can provide the skills and experience needed to make their idea a reality.

Who We Are
Dennis Masel
Dennis Masel is an award winning producer with films premiering at Toronto International Film Festival, San Sebastian, and SXSW. His most recent film, Linoleum, starring Jim Gaffigan, premiered at SXSW to rave reviews and has gone on to win Best Narrative Feature at the Sun Valley Film Festival and the Sloan Prize at the 2022 San Francisco Film Festival.
Driven by his deep rooted love of story telling in all forms, Masel launched Storm City as an independent film finance and production company with his producing partner, Gabrielle Nadig in 2020. Storm City’s features explore keystones of the human condition: love, honor, compassion, pride and justice. Their projects are focused on narratives that highlight the adventure and journey of being human leaving us, in the end, with an affirmation of the rapture and joy of life; and all of its foibles, pitfalls and triumphs.
Prior to Storm City, Dennis was a co-founder of Creative Circle, a company he started from his Brooklyn walk up and turned into the largest and most respected Creative Staffing agency in North America.
